Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic and growing team as part of their financial operations. They are an international organization, with locations in the US and UK, and the client offers a hybrid work schedule - 2 days from home and 3 days out of their corporate office in Stamford, CT. This role is critical to our client's financial management and reporting processes, supporting their continued growth and expansion.

Position Details

• Location: Stamford, CT (Hybrid Work Model)
• Work Schedule: 2 days remote, 3 days on-site
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Department: Accounting
• Compensation: $80k-$90k depending on experience
  
  

• Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes
• Perform bank reconciliations for assigned properties
• Reconcile cash accounts daily
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) for specific properties
• Process and manage cash receipts for restaurant and hotel operations
• Prepare and record necessary accruals
• Calculate and prepare sales and use tax reports
• Maintain accurate and timely financial records
• Support internal financial auditing processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Collaborate with team members to maintain financial integrity
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication abilities
• Previous experience in hospitality or multi-location or multi-entity accounting
• Knowledge of sales and use tax regulations
