Senior Accountant – Hybrid | $100,000–$120,000 Annual Salary + Bonus | Deerfield, IL

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join a leading manufacturing organization headquartered in Deerfield, IL. This role plays a critical part in supporting financial reporting, compliance, and ERP implementation across the organization. This is a hybrid opportunity (3 days onsite / 2 remote) offering long-term growth potential and high visibility with leadership.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual Salary Range: $100,000 to $120,000, depending on qualifications and experience
  • Bonus: Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
  • Active CPA license (Preferred)
  • Public Accounting experience required, preferably from a Big 4 firm
  • Strong experience working with public companies, including SEC reporting and SOX compliance
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes
  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports in compliance with US GAAP
  • Collaborate on internal/external audits and ensure SOX compliance
  • Drive process improvements and support system enhancements (ERP integration)
  • Assist with budget variance analysis and reporting
  • Support the implementation of financial best practices across business units
