ICX Group is seeking a Staff Accountant for a mission-oriented organization. In this role, the Staff Accountant will be involved in multiple aspects of the financial operations of the company, including processing the day-to-day accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with department heads to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial reporting activity
• Assist in the preparation and distribution of financial statements
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Conduct general ledger and account analysis to identify variances or inconsistencies
• Perform reconciliations of various accounts
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
• 1+ years of experience in accounting or full-charge bookkeeping
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
