Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Lakeland, FL (Hybrid)

Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Perform variance analysis and investigate fluctuations in key accounts
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls, and assist in external audit preparation
• Collaborate with business units and provide financial insight for operational decision-making
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and support systems enhancements
• Mentor junior accountants and assist with technical accounting guidance
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with large ERP systems
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to manage deadlines and work cross-functionally
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
