Summary: The Senior Accountant is responsible for handling advanced level accounting procedures including, but not limited to, e-filing reconciliations, credit card transactions, and credit card tracking. The Senior Accountant is also responsible for maintaining procedural documents and responding to audit requests for the Accounting Department.

Essential Functions And Duties

• E-filing reconciliations
• Credit Card Transaction Handling
• Credit Card Tracking
• Identify areas of improvement throughout the accounting department and work with key partners to implement change
• Document and create procedural documents
• Respond to Audit requests and handle documentation collection
• Provide backup for other roles

Requirements

Required Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED
• BA/BS in Accounting Preferred
• Minimum 5 years accounting experience
• Experience with process documentation

In addition to our regular background check and drug screen, this position also requires successful completion of a credit check.

Work Environment And Physical Demands

This role operates in a professional office setting, routinely working with standard office equipment. The position may require talking, hearing, sitting or standing for long periods, and using hands and fingers to handle and feel. Occasional walking, reaching, climbing or balancing, and kneeling may be required. Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds. Vision abilities include close vision.

Wage Disclaimer: The starting wage for this position is $60,000 to $65,000.
