Responsibilities

• Reconcile revenue and expense data from the inventory management system to the general ledger and ensure proper revenue recognition.
• Analyze and process sales data for completeness, accruals, and accuracy.
• Manage accounts receivable functions, including collections, credit reviews, and policy enforcement.
• Lead internal AR meetings and update management on collections and cash flow.
• Support shipping, billing, and accounting transactions collaboratively with internal teams.
• Assist in monthly and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and checklists.
• Contribute to financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Process accounts payable invoices, oversee GL coding, and assist with fixed asset reconciliation and capital expenditures.
• Prepare internal reports, audit schedules, and financial summaries.
• Supervise interns or junior staff as applicable and support their development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA/CMA preferred.
• 3-5+ years of accounting experience; audit experience beneficial.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; attention to detail; self-starter with leadership aspirations.
