- Monitor access control systems for all employees and guests, verify credentials, issue temporary I.D. badges.
- Monitor all fire and alarm systems for the corporate office, Mentor facility, various sales offices and Distribution Centers. Constant monitoring of all radio communications.
- Act as the companiesemergency response center.
- Act as Incident Command emergency dispatch center for critical incidents.
- Dispatch ETM’s for emergency response on critical incidents.
- Coordinate with local police and fire for critical incident emergency response.
- Patrol property, enforce parking guidelines, monitor surveillance equipment and inspect buildings.
- Monitor vehicle access in and out of the truck gate, verify manifest and inspect vehicles.
- Maintain various security logs
- Direct and monitor all railroad traffic in and out of the facility to ensure safety of all employees.
- Provide for the overall safety and security of company employees, guests and assets.
- Interpret and enforce company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Irregular work schedule required.
- Effectively represent the company to all guests.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Security
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have successfully completed the State of Ohio approved minimum 205 hours of Ohio Private Police training or be willing to complete the training at own expense within a Company approved time period
- Associates degree in Criminal Justice or three years previous experience with a security agency or police department preferred
- Must meet standards expected of law enforcement officers (civil or military)
- Excellent organizational skills.

- Very alert and able to act calmly and decisively under stressful conditions.
- Able to work well with people in all areas and levels of the company.
- Able to work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends as required.

- Able to walk up to two miles per shift and climb steps.
- Must possess a valid Ohio driver’s license.
