Job Summary:

The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the store premises, employees, customers, and merchandise. This role requires maintaining a visible presence to deter theft, monitoring activities, responding to incidents, and enforcing company policies to create a safe shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a visible presence to deter theft, vandalism, or unsafe behavior.
• Monitor entry and exit points, sales floor, and backroom areas.
• Patrol premises regularly, including parking lots and store perimeters.
• Observe surveillance cameras and report suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies.
• Assist in handling shoplifting cases in accordance with company policies.
• Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports.
• Support staff and customers with safety-related concerns.
• Enforce compliance with safety regulations and company security procedures.
• Cooperate with law enforcement when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Prior security or loss prevention experience preferred.
• Strong observation and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergencies.
• Physically fit to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Knowledge of basic security and fire safety practices.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing and walking for long periods.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
