Job Title: Security Guard/Security Office Personnel

Department: Operations

Reports To: Security Manager/Director of Operations

FLSA Status: Hourly / Non-exempt / Part-time

Pay Rate: $19.25

Summary:

This position is responsible for patrolling all areas of property and parking lots, securing doors, and ensuring the safety of all guests, employees, and contract labor while on premises.

Major Responsibilities:

• Locking and unlocking facility doors.
• Conducting routine property walks.
• Responding to emergency situations.
• Interacting with the public and all levels of management and staff.
• Securing the safety of all individuals on the premises.
• Dealing appropriately with unruly individuals.
• Working independently, assessing situations for immediate response.
• Monitoring CCTV and Life Safety Systems.
• Performing all other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or G.E.D.; some college preferred.
• 6 months to 1-year security experience, preferably in a similar environment.
• Valid driver's license required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with all staff levels.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.

Computer Skills:

Some computer knowledge is preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

No certifications are required.

Physical Demands:

Requires walking, climbing, stooping, and possibly heavy lifting. Work may be in indoor and outdoor settings and involve adverse conditions, including contact with hostile individuals.
