Security Guard (Armed) Job at Advanced Professional Security in Denver

Advanced Professional Security is seeking a Security Guard (armed) to join our team. The Security Guard is responsible for protecting the client and property from criminal activity or trespassing.

The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent observational abilities, and surveillance experience, preferably in law enforcement. The candidate should remain calm under pressure, patient, and detail-oriented.

Note: We currently do not sponsor work visas. Applicants should ensure they meet work authorization requirements before applying.

Responsibilities:

1. Surveillance: Patrol grounds or buildings, monitor surveillance cameras, establish and review identification protocols, ensure doors, windows, and gates are secure, and escort trespassers or employees off the property.
2. Investigation: Respond to alerts of suspicious activity, secure environments, and report to authorities as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active Denver Security Guard License
• At least 2 years of experience as an armed security guard (military or law enforcement experience can substitute)
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand or sit for long periods, and detain individuals if necessary
