This is a part-time, on-call position where hours vary based on coverage needs due to call offs, weather, and scheduled time off.

Job Summary

Perform security duties as outlined in the post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement, and fire departments. Maintain a professional image and exceptional customer service while staying aware of surroundings and noting activities in the assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Control of entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
• Patrol of buildings and perimeters.
• Escort of material and personnel.
• Inspection of security and fire exposures.
• Special assignments as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be over the age of 18.
• High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED).
• Must be willing to submit to a background and drug screen; any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
• Minimum 6 months prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems or access computer systems.

• Ability to push/pull/carry/lift up to 50 lbs.
• Normal vision or corrected to normal for reading and viewing tasks.
• Ability to twist, turn, bend, stand, climb stairs, and walk as required.
