Kerberos International, Inc. is an industry-leading security company providing services to the U.S. Government and Corporate America. We are currently seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Armed Security Officers for the Las Vegas, Nevada area.

Job Description

As a FPS contract employee, your responsibilities include providing protection to the facility staff by securing the grounds, checking visitors in and out, and updating the supervisor on all activities. The Security Officer will promote good public and staff relations, work as part of a team, and take directions well. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and swing shifts is required.

Required Experience

• 2 years of armed security experience or 1 year of full law enforcement experience in a full-duty status, verifiable
• 2 years of U.S. Armed Forces, National Guard, or Reserve service, active, retired, or honorably discharged, verifiable

Additional Requirements

• Be a U.S. Citizen
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Must be 21 years of age
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Pass a physical and drug screening
• Pass a federal background check
• Fluently speak, read, and comprehend English; able to write reports in English
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills for operating wireless technology
• Handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently
• Work in various environments, including cold weather, rain, snow, or heat
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
• Climb at least four flights of stairs, ramps, or ladders during shifts
• Remain on post for 4 consecutive hours and stay alert for up to 12 hours
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for extended periods
