PositionOverview:
The Unarmed Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secureenvironment by deterring criminal activity, enforcing policies, and providingassistance to employees, visitors, and clients. This role requiresprofessionalism, attentiveness, and strong communication skills.
KeyResponsibilities:

• Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security ofproperty

• Monitor entrances/exits and maintain visitor accesslogs

• Provide a visible security presence to deterunauthorized activity

• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies accordingto company procedures

• Document observations, incidents, and daily activitiesin written reports

• Identify safety hazards and escalate issues whennecessary

• Assist employees, visitors, and clients courteously andprofessionally

• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnelas required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid security guard license/registration (staterequirement)

• Previous security, law enforcement, or militarybackground preferred

• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations

• Excellent observational and problem-solving skills

• Physical ability to patrol and stand for extendedperiods

WorkConditions:

• May include indoor/outdoor assignments

• Shifts may vary (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
