Alutiiq, LLC is hiring: Armed Security Guard in Key West

Overview

Armed Security Guard at Alutiiq, LLC. This position will work nights from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Pay is $30.15 per hour base, with $5.25 per hour for H&W and a night shift differential of $1.00 per hour (11 PM to 7 AM). Covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Responsibilities

• Contracted to provide "Life Safety" response (Active Shooter).
• Enforce regulations designed to prevent security breaches.
• Respond to alarms, complaints, incidents, violations and suspicious activities; take appropriate action.
• Secure/safeguard crime scenes and preserve evidence.
• Perform crowd control as required.
• Perform personnel, vehicular and building facility checks; provide First Aid and CPR as required.
• Complete all required reports, forms, and other documentation per established procedures.
• Staff posts continuously and provide access control.
• Control access to restricted areas; report violations.
• Direct and provide information to visitors.
• May operate x-ray machines, magnetometers, hand-held wands and screen packages.
• Safeguard assets and provide assistance as required.
• Escort persons and equipment as needed.
• Conduct foot/vehicle patrols as required.
• Monitor unusual situations/conditions through personal or electronic surveillance.
• Conduct other assignments in accordance with established SOPs.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Due to government contract requirements, U.S. Citizenship status is required.
• Must possess/obtain an active Florida State D & G license; must be able to carry a 9mm semi-automatic pistol.
• Must pass a background investigation.
• Must have or be able to obtain a SECRET clearance, and be considered for a TS/SCI clearance.
