North East Medical Services is hiring: SECURITY GUARD I in Daly City

Job Details Job Location: Daly City, CA Salary Range: $30.00

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Security Guard I is responsible for patrolling the premises of NEMS buildings to detect suspicious activity and ensure the safety of staff and patients.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
2. Greet and welcome incoming/outgoing patients in addition to providing basic information for site i.e. directions.
3. Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
4. Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
5. Report in detail any suspicious incidents.
6. May work any day of the week, depending on need.
7. Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter.
8. Monitor and control access to building entrances and vehicle gates.
9. Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment.
10. Follow advice from the Security II during critical/dangerous situations.
11. Perform other job duties as required by manager/supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Possession of current California State Guard or Proprietary Private Security Officer Card.
2. High School certification preferred.
3. Must be able to work any day of the week, depending on need.
4. 1-2 years’ experience in a security role preferred.

LANGUAGE:

1. Must be able to fluently speak, read and write English.
2. Fluent in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) preferred.
3. Fluency in other languages is an asset.

STATUS:

1. This is an FLSA Non-exempt position.
2. This is not an OSHA high-risk position.
3. This is an on-call position.
