Job Summary:

We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and visitors. The ideal candidate will patrol the property, monitor surveillance equipment, and respond promptly to security breaches or emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons.

• Patrol assigned areas regularly to maintain order and establish a visible security presence.

• Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points; ensure doors, windows, and gates are secure.

• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems.

• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.

• Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily activity logs.

• Assist with emergency situations including evacuations, fire response, and first aid.

• Enforce company policies and procedures regarding security and safety.

• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when required.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's license.

• Personal vehicle onsite for duration of shift.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience as a security guard or in a related field preferred.

• Knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.

• Strong observational and decision-making skills.

• Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Physically able to stand or patrol for extended periods.

Working Conditions:

• Indoor and outdoor environments in various weather conditions.

• Shift work, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, may be required.
