Job Summary
We are seeking a highly professional and vigilant Armed Security Guard to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain a secure environment by protecting personnel, property, and assets. The ideal candidate is licensed in the state of Maryland and authorized to carry a firearm. This position requires a strong sense of integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine patrols and maintain a strong visible presence to deter threats
  
  
• Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel gain access
  
  
• Respond swiftly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, or suspicious activity
  
  
• Enforce safety protocols and remove unauthorized individuals or trespassers as needed
  
  
• Monitor surveillance systems and report irregularities
  
  
• Prepare detailed, accurate incident and activity reports
  
  

Qualifications:

• Current Maryland Security Guard License (required)
  
  
• Authorization and ability to carry a firearm in the state of Maryland (required)
  
  
• Prior experience as an Armed Guard or similar role preferred
  
  
• High school diploma or GED
  
  
• Solid understanding of public safety and security procedures
  
  
• Strong written communication and report writing skills
  
  
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  
  
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  
  
• High attention to detail and strong observational skills
