Unarmed Security Guard Job at Davis Recruiting LLC in Pittsburgh

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, effective communication skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to emergencies.

Duties

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
• Upload ID's of visitors and files to the computer system.
• Professionally greet all visitors to the facility.
• Conduct hourly or bihourly regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Operate surveillance equipment including CCTV systems to monitor activities within the premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
• Document incidents and prepare reports as required for law enforcement or management review.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in conflict management situations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed for investigations or incidents on site.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks or vulnerabilities in security protocols.

Experience

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is required.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and conflict management techniques is preferred.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held is required.
