We are seeking a PRN Security Guard to join our team!

Responsibilities:

Performs a variety of duties to ensure the security of patients, visitors, staff and hospital assets. Documents security exposures and notifies appropriate personal of unusual activity inside or outside the hospital. Interacts with patients and family members following the hospitals channels of clinical, security, and administrative communication.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

• One (1) year of previous security service experience, military experience, or law enforcement experience preferred.
• Previous healthcare security experience is also strongly preferred.
• Ability to de-escalate confrontations.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
