As an Unarmed Security Officer, you'll support critical facilities and infrastructure, public venues requiring an enhanced presence, and asset protection services. You will be part of a team delivering specialized security services daily.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain high visibility to deter crime.
• Answer questions, handle minor problems.
• Monitor entry and exit at facilities.
• Report situations immediately to appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Contact law enforcement or emergency services in case of incidents.
• Inspect facilities for security breaches.
• Note after-hours staff presence.
• Report accidents, injuries, electrical outages, damages.
• Protect property and deter theft through physical presence.
• Report unusual conditions and maintain logs and incident reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Alert, good judgment, ability to implement instructions.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to monitor security systems.
• Must pass physical exam, drug screening, and training in security procedures.
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Valid California Driver’s License or ID, and CPR/First Aid certification.
• Must be physically capable of performing security duties, with good vision and hearing within specified limits.
