Specific Requirements

• Be a minimum of 18 years old for unarmed security roles. Some assignments require you to be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Driver's License
• Access to Reliable Vehicle
• Possess courteous behavior supported by a strong moral character
• Be eligible to work in the United States.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Security Guard Certified or able to be certified.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.

Work Environment and Schedule

• This role is centered around new and ongoing construction sites.
• Position requires persistent walking patrol, standing, and mobility in the performance of daily security activities.
• Availability during days, nights, weekends, and overtime as directed (overtime occurs).
• Work various shifts, holidays, and special events.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide Entry & Egress Access Control to construction sites (when applicable)
• Perform Roving Patrols of building interior & exterior (when applicable)
• Verify employees, visitors, and deliveries
• Draft incident & daily operating reports within Silvertrac
• Follow proper emergency notification procedures (as necessary)
• Be proactive against suspicious activities throughout construction perimeters
• Comply with uniform & appearance standards
• Attend all meetings or training sessions (as required)
• Sustain and secure assigned post for the entire shift until relieved
• Maintain all certifications and training standards
• Inspect high-risk and extremely vulnerable spaces throughout construction developments
• Possess a full understanding & performance of post orders
• Perform any additional duties as assigned in post orders

Qualifications:

• Speak, read, and write English; bilingual is highly desirable
• Pass a criminal records check, employment check, and motor vehicle driving records
• Pass a pre-employment drug test
