As a Security Guard - CRE Patrol - Unarmed in Bala Cynwyd, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for tenants, visitors, and guests. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming and professional presence at the front desk. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible and approachable demeanor, responding promptly to inquiries, and assisting with any security-related concerns that arise. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service and communication, as you will interact with a diverse range of individuals throughout your shift. What You’ll Do

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
  
  

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including communication with building management and/or emergency services.
• Support Allied Universal management and site leadership by reporting security-related concerns and/or hazards observed at the location.
• Answer questions and provide information to visitors and tenants, helping to create a welcoming environment while maintaining security-related awareness.

Minimum Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
