The Goddard School in Edgewater, MD is currently hiring teachers for all classrooms! Our ideal teachers will love and nurture our children while helping to build a foundation for early childhood development. A passion for creating an environment of kindness and character development are a must!

Teacher Requirements:
- Kindness and strong character
- Desire to nurture children and help them to grow to help make the world a better place
- CDA or associate's degree in early childhood education or related field (not required, but preferred)
- 45 hour infant/toddler certificate or 90 hour preschool certificate preferred. School is willing to provide tuition assistance, if not currently certified.
- EEC certification preferred (will work with you to get certified)
- Must be able to work between the hours of 7:00AM 6:00PM
Teacher Responsibilities:
- Implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Providing positive guidance by supporting social and emotional development
- Establishing positive and productive relationships with families
- Ensuring a well-run program by developing lesson plans and building teamwork
- Understanding and implementing Goddards health & safety procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
