Quranic Arabic Teacher (IWS-Sunday School)

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Quranic Arabic Teacher to instruct students in the proper recitation, understanding, and application of the Quran. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Arabic language and Quranic studies, along with excellent teaching and communication skills. The Quranic Arabic Teacher will work in a classroom setting, engage with parents and colleagues during occasional meetings, and attend staff development workshops and training sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Quranic Arabic to students of various ages and skill levels, focusing on proper pronunciation, grammar, and comprehension.

• Implement lesson plans and current curriculum that combine traditional and modern teaching methods.

• Provide individualized attention and feedback, assessing student progress and adapting instruction as needed.

• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff members to implement curriculum standards and educational initiatives.

• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to update them on student progress and actively involve them in their child's education.

• Stay current with developments in Quranic Arabic teaching methodologies and apply best practices in instruction.

Teaching Schedule:

• Sundays from 11:15 AM to 1:00 PM.

• Age range of students will depend on the applications we receive but will generally include children between 7-15 years old.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Arabic Language, Quranic Studies, or a related field.

• Advanced certification in Quranic Arabic teaching, such as Ijazah or Tajweed certification.

• Proven experience teaching Quranic Arabic to students of varying ages and skill levels.

• Proficiency in English and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
