We are seeking Lead and Assistant Preschool Teachers (Toddlers-VPK) to join our organization! Individuals in these positions will plan and present age appropriate activities for children.

We are seeking to fill the following positions: Lead Preschool Teacher (1 positions available) Assistant Teacher (2 positions available)

 

General Responsibilities:

  • Instruct toddler and/or preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
  • Create a fun and safe learning environment
  • Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
  • Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
  • Maintain the health and safety of all students

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
  • Passionate about working with children
  • Ability to build rapport with children
  • Positive and patient demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High School Diploma
  • DCF 45-hours
  • Clean Level 2 background screening/ability to pass a Level 2 background screening
  • National CDA (Lead Teacher required; all other positions this is a plus)
  • Lead VPK instructor emergent literacy certification preferred
