Responsibilities
- Implements developmentally age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that foster learning, curiosity, and exploration.
- Creates a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to express themselves and learn through play.
- Integrate language-rich activities, storytelling, and early literacy experiences into daily routines for children to develop communication skills.
- Ensure the classroom is a safe environment that follows all licensing regulations.
- Shares housekeeping responsibilities with her team, ensuring that the classroom always remains clean and tidy.
- Able to communicate with our families using the tools provided sharing insights, updates, and progress on their child's development.
- Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher.
- This position requires working knowledge and understanding of the behavioral and developmental stages of children and childcare licensing requirements
- Minimum of two years' experience as lead teacher.
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Energetic, enthusiastic, loving and with passion to work with kids.
- Effective communication skills verbal and written.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid. Ability and flexibility in working with various age groups.
- CDA or Early Childhood certifications preferred.
