Teacher Assistant Job at True North Center for Children in Syracuse

Do love teaching and caring for children? We are seeking Teacher Assistants to join our organization! These individuals will help the lead teacher plan and present age appropriate activities for children ages 18 months through 3 years.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Help to create a fun and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
• High School diploma
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children and parents
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
