We are looking for a Toddler Teacher to join us at The Learning Experience - Hell's Kitchen. do you have an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or a CDA? Apply now and join our team of passionate Child Care Teachers.

Pay: $22 - $27 per hour
Age Group: Toddlers/ 2 year olds

Role and Responsibilities
Curriculum & Lesson Implementation


  • Implement age-appropriate curriculum aligned with developmental milestones.
  • Incorporate sensory play, music and movement, language development, and hands-on learning.
  • Facilitate both structured and unstructured play experiences.
  • Observe and adapt activities based on individual child needs and interests.
Developmental Support


  • Support toddlers language acquisition, emotional expression, gross and fine motor development, and independence.
  • Guide and model appropriate behavior and social interactions.
  • Encourage self-help skills (feeding, dressing, toileting, hand washing).
Communication


  • Build trusting relationships with children and families.
  • Provide daily verbal or written updates on each childs day (eating, sleeping, toileting, activities).
  • Communicate developmental observations and concerns to parents and leadership team.
Classroom Management


  • Maintain an organized, clean, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Ensure toys and learning materials are rotated and sanitized regularly.
Qualifications:

  • 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred. At least six months of professional teaching experience required
  • Associates degree in Early childhood or Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred along with a study plan for obtaining early childcare certification.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
  • CPR and First Aide certification preferred
  • Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
