Hospitality House Youth Development (HHYD) is a Christ-centered nonprofit organization based in North Minneapolis, dedicated to the spiritual, intellectual, and physical development of inner-city youth and their families. For over 65 years, HHYD has fostered a supportive environment where young people thrive academically, socially, and spiritually. Our mission is to empower youth to become responsible, productive Christian leaders through a range of high-impact programs, including academic enrichment, athletics and mentorship, faith-based initiatives, and community outreach. Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Teacher located in Minneapolis, MN. The Teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering lesson plans, teaching various subjects, and providing training and support to students. Daily tasks include preparing educational materials, assessing student progress, and creating a positive learning environment. The role also involves effective communication with students, parents, and staff to ensure the best educational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Lesson Planning and Teaching skills
• Experience in Education and Training
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Previous teaching experience, particularly in urban settings, is a plus
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Commitment to the mission and values of HHYD
