We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

1. Must meet EEC Infant/Toddler Teacher requirements.
2. Hold a CDA credential, Associates in Early Childhood Education/related field or be enrolled in a program leading to either.
3. Be CPR/First Aid Certified.
4. At least one (1) year experience as an infant/toddler teacher, preferred.
5. Be physically active eight (8) hours a day to support children with individual needs, including disabilities. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., push and pull up to 75 lbs., climb stairs, participate in field trips and neighborhood walks.
6. Pass background checks (CORI, DCF, SORI, Fingerprint-based National and State criminal history checks).
7. Have a valid driver’s license.

The Early Head Start Teacher will also be responsible for planning and managing classroom activities and supporting parents, staff, and program managers concerning program operations and services. To learn more about the program, visit www.paceinfo.org and click on the "Programs" tab.
