is a growing organization with a social mission to offer hope. We are seeking a Certified Math and/or Science Teacher to join our Alternative Education team and make a meaningful impact in a culture that values innovation, creativity, and professional growth.

As a Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting High School students by implementing effective instructional strategies aligned with ChanceLight Education methodologies and Ombudsman policies. Your leadership will help create engaging learning experiences that promote academic and personal development.

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Deliver engaging instruction using diverse curriculum materials and educational software tailored to student needs.
  2. Develop daily lesson plans and classroom schedules aligned with state and school requirements.
  3. Collaborate with special education staff to differentiate instruction and ensure accommodations.
  4. Implement classroom management practices to establish a safe and structured environment.
  5. Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and challenges.
  6. Participate in team meetings to support student needs and improve educational strategies.
  7. Assess and track student progress to inform instruction.
  8. Stay updated with latest educational practices and innovations.
  9. Respond to evaluations and feedback for professional growth.
  10. Support the broader mission and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in education or related field.
  2. Current or in-process AZ teaching license.
  3. Valid AZ fingerprint clearance.
  4. Experience in curriculum development and differentiated instruction.
  5. Experience with at-risk student populations preferred.
  6. High school teaching experience, preferably in alternative education.
  7. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  8. Proficiency with technology and educational software.
