Join our team at the Primrose School of Kingwood, an accredited private preschool committed to providing a premier early education and childcare experience. We are currently hiring a Support Teacher to nurture young minds and support classrooms serving infants through school-aged children.Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred.

We are currently hiring a Support Teacher to nurture young minds and support classrooms serving infants through school-aged children.Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred.
As a Support Teacher, you will:
- Help children explore, discover, and make sense of the world around them.
- Implement age-appropriate activities that foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Support lead teachers using the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum.
- Assist at the front desk by greeting parents, answering phones, and providing general administrative support.
Desired skills and experience:
- Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency
- Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred
- Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.
