Position Description: This role involves delivering products to stores on established routes or via dynamic dispatch, including convenience stores, gas stations, small supermarkets, and drug stores, with an average of 15-20 stops per day. Responsibilities include driving the delivery vehicle, unloading products, stocking store shelves, building displays, setting up promotional materials, generating invoices, and handling daily cash and charge settlements. The role requires frequent interaction with store management.
Physical Requirements: The position is labor-intensive, requiring lifting, loading, and pushing/pulling cases weighing 20-45 pounds repeatedly. It also involves reaching, squatting, and bending during deliveries and merchandising, often in various weather conditions. Long hours may be required during peak seasons.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver products, serve customers, and execute promotions daily.
- Operate trucks requiring an appropriate CDL license.
- Service all scheduled customers by the end of each shift.
- Merchandise and rotate products according to standards.
- Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, and breakdowns to move products.
- Build positive relationships with store contacts.
- Follow operating procedures and DOT regulations.
- Maintain reliable and predictable attendance.
