This role involves delivering products to stores on established routes or via dynamic dispatch, including convenience stores, gas stations, small supermarkets, and drug stores, with an average of 15-20 stops per day. The driver unloads products, stocks shelves, builds displays, and sets up promotional materials. Responsibilities include generating invoices, daily settlement of cash and charges, and interacting with store management.
This position is labor-intensive, requiring lifting, loading, and pushing/pulling cases weighing 20-45 pounds repeatedly. It also involves reaching, squatting, bending, and delivering in various weather conditions. Long hours may be required during peak seasons.
Primary Accountabilities
- Deliver products, serve customers, and execute promotions daily.
- Operate trucks requiring a valid CDL license.
- Service all scheduled customers by the end of each shift.
- Merchandise and rotate products according to standards.
- Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, and breakdowns to move products.
- Build positive relationships with store contacts.
- Follow operating procedures and DOT regulations.
- Maintain reliable and predictable attendance.
