Responsibilities
During the Covid-19 pandemic, we prioritize the health and safety of our team by following CDC guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
The Delivery Driver will pick up and drop off automotive parts, adhering to routes and schedules. Responsibilities include ensuring order accuracy, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining safety standards.
- Load, transport, and deliver items promptly and courteously.
- Review orders before and after delivery for accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Follow directions, adhere to routes, and use navigation tools effectively.
- Assist with loading/unloading and maintain safety at delivery sites.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints professionally, and provide excellent service.
- Follow all transportation laws and maintain a clean driving record.
- Manage payments, prepare invoices, and reconcile transactions.
- Perform vehicle maintenance checks and report issues.
- Support warehouse duties as needed.
- Maintain workplace safety and security of assets.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance with your name on the policy.
- Must be 21 or older to meet insurance requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; auto body parts drivers may need to lift 75 lbs.
Skills and Abilities:
- Manage financial transactions and reconcile accounts.
- Use tablets or mobile devices for navigation and customer interactions.
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
- Follow directions and work well in a team.
- Flexible schedule, with overtime as needed.
- Previous delivery experience is a plus.
