Our Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver orders via the most effective route to ensure complete, accurate, and on-time deliveries according to established time frames and customer needs.
- Prepare the truck for operation by loading products, securing items, and verifying the accuracy of shipping papers.
- Inspect truck tires, lights, brakes, fluids, etc., to ensure safe and cost-effective performance with preventive maintenance in mind.
- Maintain communication with the company during deliveries to receive any updated instructions.
- Document delivery, accuracy, and receipt of orders by the customer according to company directives and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain and monitor truck maintenance and driving record requirements, and keep required documents for safety, security, and quality processes.
- Work with other distribution team members to ensure complete, accurate, and on-time deliveries.
- Represent the company professionally, safely, and cost-effectively.
- Maintain a satisfactory driving record and comply with all DOT and applicable regulations.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Increase customer satisfaction by collecting feedback, resolving complaints, and communicating back to the company.
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Perform occasional warehouse and counter duties.
- Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Hours of operation are Monday - Friday.
- Position requires lifting/pushing/carrying items up to or over 50 pounds, and potentially working around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals.
