Immediate Hiring: Furniture Delivery Drivers

Ashley HomeStore Warehouse has immediate openings for Delivery Drivers! A Delivery Driver operates a 26ft delivery box truck, with assistance from a Driver Helper, responsible for in-home delivery and setup of furniture and mattresses.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading products onto trucks
• Delivering and installing furniture, including mattress removal
• Providing excellent customer service during delivery and setup
• Maximizing quality and efficiency scores
• Handling products carefully to minimize damages
• Communicating with customers and documenting issues
• Completing reports and paperwork accurately
• Assisting with warehouse tasks, including operating a lift truck
• Adhering to safety protocols
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, up-to-date DOT medical card
• Ability to read maps, follow instructions
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more, with assistance if needed
• Must be 21+, able to work Tuesday through Saturday
• Experience driving a 26-foot box truck preferred
• Physical ability to perform tasks including bending, reaching, standing, walking

Physical Requirements

• Visual and auditory acuity for safe operation and communication
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects
• Ability to work in indoor/outdoor environments
