Summary/Objective

The Parts Delivery Personnel coordinate closely with the Parts Department to get the right parts to the customers on time. The Parts Delivery personnel are the key link to our customers and the professional interaction and service

Summary/Objective

The Parts Delivery Personnel coordinate closely with the Parts Department to get the right parts to the customers on time. The Parts Delivery personnel are the key link to our customers and the professional interaction and service

Essential Functions

• Pick and pull parts from the warehouse to fill orders
• Ensure that the parts being delivered match the customers invoice
• Must deliver customer parts in a timely, accurate, safe, and friendly manner pickup to and from customer locations
• Maintain continuous communication with the Parts team as to customer needs that may arise while on delivery
• Maintain a professional appearance and ensure the delivery vehicle is clean and well-maintained
• Must report any truck repairs to the Parts Manager or designated parts department team member
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed (e.g., put away stock, drive forklift, clean, etc.)

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a Warehouse environment and routinely uses equipment such as a Forklift

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift items up to 70 plus pounds consistently.
• Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle, and lift parts.
• Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to OSHA Standards in some areas
  
  

Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work

Working Monday to Friday, normal business hours of 8 AM to 5 PM

Travel

Local travel is required regularly.

Required Education And Experience

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in Parts delivery or delivery of goods for at least 2 years, plus.
• Valid Drivers License as well as outstanding driving records.
  
  

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

:

• CDL is a plus
• Forklift experience would be a plus
