Woodfin-Your Home Team is growing our team of Propane Delivery Drivers in order to continue to best serve the Richmond and surrounding areas! The Propane Delivery Driver delivers to our residential and commercial customers by operating a Propane Bobtail truck and ensuring our delivery service remains a sought-after experience.

What You'll Do

• Load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane to and from specified destinations and customers.
• Prepare and maintain records in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and company procedures.
• Operate company truck and/or personal vehicle in accordance to established safety procedures.
• Engage in daily interaction with customers provides exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquires.
• Possess a drive, determination, professionalism, and the desire to be a significant factor in growing our business.
• Inspect, paint, repair and load tanks and cylinders, as well as maintain the appearance of our displays and signs.
• Perform and accurately document leak checks on tank run outs.
• Assist in handling and maintaining flow of materials and products under safety guidelines.
• Support the 20 lb. cylinder exchange program with our commercial retail partner sites.
  
  

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of delivery driving experience is required.
• Experience with 20 lb. cylinder exchange is preferred.
• Fluent English speaking and writing skills to communicate with customers.
• Ability to operate various machinery (e.g. forklift).
• Driving Requirements
• Must have a valid Virginia Class B CDL license with Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements.
• Must have positive points on state driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age unless company approval is granted.
• Must not have had a DUI, DWI, or reckless driving conviction in the last five years.
• Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation Pre-Employment Drug Screen.
• All driving records are run as part of our pre-employment process and reviewed at the discretion of the Safety Team.
• Physical Requirements
• Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
