Summit Truck Group in West Plains, Missouri is seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working, customer-oriented individual who can work in a team environment as Parts Delivery Driver. The Parts Delivery Driver will deliver customer parts with excellent customer service; keep inventory control; maintain a safe and secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper items pulled for delivery order.
- Properly load orders into delivery vehicle.
- Deliver to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain proper condition of delivery vehicle and notify supervisor of any repairs needed.
- Verify orders for correct pulls.
- Ensure cores are returned for credit.
- Return incorrectly ordered parts.
- Stock shelves as needed.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
- Ensure orders are delivered on time.
- Ensure all orders are accurate before delivery.
- Quickly resolve any erroneous parts deliveries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Forklift certified.
- Some delivery experience is preferred.
- General knowledge of trucking industry helpful.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Customer service skills.
- General understanding of inventory management.
- Must have valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
