Overview

The Delivery Driver / Warehouse team member drives over established routes to deliver products and/or pick up returned merchandise from customers. Additionally, this position handles all shipping and receiving functions within the Branch.

Responsibilities

1. Use vehicle to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise safely and courteously. Create and maintain records as needed.
2. Dispatch, confirm customer orders, and generate delivery manifests and receiving documents.
3. Sort, organize, and prepare merchandise from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas by part and quantity.
4. Ensure customer orders are located, picked up, and signed for.
5. Collect funds from customers if needed and maintain all necessary documentation.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Skills

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Safe driving skills, adhering to all safety standards.
• Experience operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Reliable attendance.
• Basic math skills.
• Proficiency in using computers and handheld RF devices.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
• Meet state-specific driver’s license requirements for delivery duties.

• Familiarity with automotive parts.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking.
• Punctual and reliable attendance.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to learn new skills and branch operations.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, listen, stoop, kneel, crouch, sit, climb, or balance. Must lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Vision abilities include close, distance, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and loud noise. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.

Salary Range

USD $16.50 - USD $17.50 per hour.
