Lead Delivery Driver Job at Matthews International in Maryland Heights

Matthews International is seeking an experienced Lead Delivery Driver / Warehouse Worker to join our Distribution Team in Maryland Heights, MO area for our memorialization business segment. This position will be performing all functions for the arrival, departure and delivery of specific products (caskets for the funeral home industry) within our memorialization business segment as well as assisting with the delivery of new caskets to our customers (Funeral homes) in the Local area.

This is a Full-Time Delivery Professional position for our St. Charles, MO Distribution Center. Our Delivery Professionals can expect to work a first shift position, Monday - Friday including being available to work weekend shifts when needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivering memorialization products (new caskets) to funeral homes in a company provided truck or van.
• Preparing products for delivery and unloading products to be stored in our warehouse.
• Scanning products, pulling correct orders and maintaining a clean work environment.
• You will be interacting with manager on day to day operations and assisting with various duties.
• Provide customer service with a smile to our customers.
• NO CDL License is required.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• Previous driver experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous Supervisory or Lead experience in the delivery or warehouse industry strongly preferred.
• Ability to work a Monday - Friday shift as well as being available to work on weekends when needed.
• Must have current driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT medical card.
