Local CDL Delivery Driver (Open) – Airgas

Location: Springdale, AR – Retail shop

Ready for a driving role where you're home every night? As a Local Delivery Driver at Airgas, you'll be the face of our company, delivering essential compressed gases and welding supplies to local businesses. You'll drive a modern, company-provided straight or box truck from our well-maintained fleet. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position with no overnights. Pay begins at $27/hour.

Responsibilities

• Make an Impact: Safely and efficiently deliver compressed gas cylinders to our valued customers. Build relationships and provide great service.
• Manage Your Route: Load and unload cylinders, complete delivery records, and perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Provide Support: Assist customers at the branch, either at the front counter or over the phone, and help other drivers as needed.
• Drive a Modern Fleet: Operate a company truck equipped with the latest technology, including GPS and collision avoidance systems, to ensure safety and accuracy.

What We're Looking For

• Class A or B CDL with a Hazmat endorsement (we can help you get this after you're hired).
• At least one year of Class A or B CDL driving experience within the last five years, or graduation from an accredited driving school.
• A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and a current Medical Examiner’s Card.
• Ability to lift 25–75 lbs. routinely and up to 125 lbs. with material handling equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and a can-do attitude.
• Attention to Detail: Accurately record sales, delivery information, and vehicle inspections.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
