We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey. In this long-term contract role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at our front desk. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your administrative and customer service skills in the water industry.
Responsibilities:
• Schedule and manage appointments to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Greet visitors and handle inquiries at the front desk in a courteous manner.
• Operate a multi-line phone system to answer calls and direct them appropriately.
• Respond to inbound calls while providing accurate information and assistance.
• Perform light filing tasks, ensuring records are accurately maintained in a mostly paperless environment.
• Participate in training sessions to master call handling and customer interaction techniques.
• Maintain a welcoming and organized reception area to create a positive first impression for clients and visitors.• At least 2 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role.
• Proficiency in operating multi-line phone systems, including switchboards with 1 to 10 lines.
• Strong communication skills to manage inbound calls and visitor inquiries effectively.
• Ability to work part-time hours with flexibility as needed.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills for scheduling and light filing tasks.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt through provided training sessions.
• Familiarity with customer service practices to ensure positive interactions.
