The main purpose of the Receptionist is to welcome residents, families, and guests to the community. As the first face a visitor sees, you will set the tone in making their visit a memorable and pleasant experience.

Essential Functions- Job Duties: The following duties are considered essential to the job. Qualified individuals must have the ability, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform the following duties:

  • Greet visitors in a friendly and inviting manner.
  • Direct visitors to desired location or call for appropriate team member
  • Distribute mail and packages to residents and staff
  • Answering phones and sending calls to the appropriate person
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the front desk and lobby
  • Perform typing and copying tasks for department leaders
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings, projects, special events, committees, and mandatory training as appropriate.


Education & Knowledge Requirements- Specific education, certification, and licensure:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent highly preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office


Essential Job-Related Experience/Abilities:

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
  • Ability to walk continuously, bend frequently, and sit occasionally
  • Ability to operate computer systems and phone systems.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
