Job Summary:  The receptionist is many times the first contact an individual has with Stepping Stones.  Working as a part of the Admissions and Outreach team, the receptionist’s interactions with callers or individuals presenting in person is a vital  part of that individual’s ongoing impression of the agency and often sets the tone for their entire experience. It is imperative that the receptionist display kindness, empathy, and a non-judgmental demeanor at all times. 

 QUALIFICATIONS

Requires excellent customer service skills; professionalism; communication skills; and the ability to promote a positive atmosphere while showing empathy to Clients and their families. Requires knowledge of and ability to maintain confidentiality. A minimum of 12 months of continuous sobriety is required for persons recovering from a substance use disorder. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Bilingual preferred.
