Schedule: Monday–Friday | 37.5 hours/week | 7.5 hours/day

Position Summary:
We are seeking a receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for prospective patients and visitors, both in person and over the phone. This individual will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, routing inquiries appropriately, scheduling appointments, and assisting with visitor access. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish and English, highly organized, courteous, and comfortable navigating both administrative systems and patient-facing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist all visitors and patients approaching the front desk.
Answer phones and provide accurate information about services, departments, and policies.
Direct patients and visitors to appropriate areas within the facility.
Issue visitor passes per medical center policy; monitor supply and ensure policy compliance.
Verify and update patient data using the ADT system and census reports.
Collaborate with internal departments and nursing units regarding patient/visitor status.
Report lobby incidents and initiate follow-up actions, including environmental service requests.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required (relevant work experience may be considered in lieu).
Minimum 2 years of relevant receptionist or administrative experience.
Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Familiarity with ADT system and patient census reports preferred.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Must be courteous, professional, and able to work with a diverse patient population.
