DeNooyer Chevrolet is looking for a Full Time Receptionist!

We are seeking a Full Time Receptionist with excellent customer service skills and a winning attitude. We are looking to cover a full time 11 am to 7 pm shift Mon -Thur, with rotating Fri 830 am - 6 pm and Saturday 8 am -5 pm shifts. This individual has 2 primary and very important tasks - they will receive calls into the dealership, determine the nature of the callers business, and direct the caller to their destination. This receptionist position also greets and directs everyone that comes in the showroom door in a professional and pleasant, friendly manner. This position will also be responsible for assisting the sales department and accounting office with various tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and direct consumer to the proper department and follow up in a timely manner
  • Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate manager for resolution
  • Operate switchboard telephone system
  • Greet and direct transporters when they arrive to pick up vehicles
  • Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold
  • Assist the managers with various clerical duties as needed
  • Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees
  • Familiarize yourself with department structures & internal procedures for assisting customers efficiently


Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Applications
  • Experience answering multi line phone system is a PLUS
  • Available to work flexible hours for occasional call out / vacation coverage & one or 2 Saturdays a month 8 am - 5 pm.
  • Ability to communicate customers' interests needs and requests to management and sales personnel
  • Professional personal appearance
