Companion Caregiver Opportunity

At Helping Hearts Senior Care we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide essential support to seniors and disabled individuals. This role focuses on assisting individuals with fundamental self-care tasks while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Personal Hygiene: Assist with bathing, grooming, and oral care to maintain cleanliness and well-being.
• Dressing Assistance: Help clients select and put on appropriate clothing for the day.
• Mobility Support: Provide assistance with walking, standing, transferring, and repositioning.
• Toileting & Continence Care: Offer support with restroom use and maintaining hygiene.
• Feeding & Hydration: Assist with meal consumption and encourage proper nutrition.

Qualifications & Skills

• Compassion & Patience: A deep understanding of the needs of elderly or disabled individuals.
• Communication Skills: Ability to listen, engage, and respond with kindness.
• Physical Stamina: Capability to assist with movement and personal care.
• Basic Training: Certification in caregiving or first aid (preferred but not always required).
