Job Overview:

We seek a mature, reliable, compassionate caregiver to support a kind male client in Simpsonville, SC. This part-time, long-term position is ideal for a caregiver with a calm demeanor and experience helping individuals with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.

Older, seasoned caregivers are strongly encouraged to apply. The client’s family is looking for someone gentle, patient, and steady—a calming presence in the home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Prepare light meals and provide feeding assistance
• Offer companionship and engage the client in mentally stimulating activities
• Support with mobility and light physical exercises
• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration)
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition

Position Details:

• Location: Simpsonville, SC
• Schedule: Part-Time | Weekdays | ~15 hours/week
• Pay: $15.00 – 16.00/hour (Bi-weekly pay)
• Job Type: Long-Term, Consistent Assignment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous caregiving experience (preferred)
• Experience with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or Parkinson’s is a plus
• Warm, patient, and professional demeanor
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation (preferred)
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
